News: Free Content from SAGE Journals

[UPDATE as of 23 May: Unfortunately, complimentary access has now ended, so the issues below are *no longer* freely available.]

SAGE Journals is currently providing complimentary access to all of its journal content. I have not seen an official announcement about this, so I don't know when this "free" window will end - take advantage while you can!

Use the advanced search form to locate specific studies. For example, I searched on "refugees" in the title field and limited the date range to 2018; this search produced 91 hits.

Alternatively, here are some recently published special journal issues that focus on forced migration-related topics:

American Behavioral Scientist, vol. 62, no. 4 (April 2018) [free full-text]
- Special issue on "Refugee Communications in the Digital Age."

The ANNALS of the American Academy of Political and Social Science, vol. 676, no. 1 (March 2018) [free full-text]
- Theme is "Migrant Smuggling as a Collective Strategy and Insurance Policy: Views from the Margins."

Current Sociology, vol. 66, no. 2 (March 2018) [free full-text]
- Articles focus on "Migration, Migrants, and Human Security."

European Educational Research Journal, vol. 17, no. 2 (March 2018) [free full-text]
- Special issue on "Refugees in Europe: Educational policies and practices as spaces of hospitality?"

Social & Legal Studies, vol. 27, no. 2 (April 2018) [free full-text]
- Special issue on "Governing Migration from the Margins."

In addition, SAGE is now publishing International Migration Review and the Journal on Migration and Human Security on behalf of the Center for Migration Studies (CMS). Browse through the latest (and currently freely available) IMR articles here. JMHS began as an Open Access journal and apparently will remain so.
